EXHIBITIONS IN THE STABLE GALLERY.
The Cooleys Hotel Stable Gallery in its former days was a tack shed used by the local racing fraternity before and after local horse races at the then popular Albert Park Track, and later on the Elwick Racecourse.
As part of the recent renovations it was decided to maintain this important historical feature of the building and transform it into a gallery to showcase and support the work of up-and-coming artists.
The Stable Gallery provides a unique feel and atmosphere as the surrounds and memories of yesteryear collide with the rich colours and inspiring visions of Tasmania's artists of the future.
The Stable Gallery welcomes all applicants at our community-based gallery.
